This workshop illustrates how to hand process both black and white negative and reversal 16mm film. Beginning by shooting a roll of self portraits onto reversal film with a Bolex 16mm camera the course then covers:
Loading a lomo film processing tank, the chemistry required for hand processing both negative and reversal film, the use of Caffenol as an alternative developer (using the Caffenol cookbook), push and pull processing, useful information on where to purchase chemicals and tips and hints to achieve interesting processing effects by hand.
The workshop will be particularly useful to anyone who is interested in shooting new b/w stocks available in 8mm as well as 16mm as well as seasoned users of formats such as Tri X.
