no.w.here and Jotta are pleased to present this one day session, which is intended to serve as a practical introduction to no.w.here as a project space, as well as the concept of working with celluloid film.

Participants will have the opportunity to shoot and work with some 16mm and some Super 8 film, and see how the other equipment in the lab relates to working with celluloid.

This includes the optical and contact printers, Steenbeck editing tables, Rostrum animation camera, no.w.here’s black and white 16mm processor, telecine machine and facilities for hand processing 8mm film.

Participants are encouraged to come armed with questions to see how the facilities and resources no.w.here offers could benefit recent graduates in their practice and ability to make work in this medium.
