Araki was born in 1985 and currently resides in Tokyo. He studied sculpture at the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts at Washington University, and received his master's degree from the Graduate School of Film and New Media at the Tokyo University of the Arts. This work has toured South Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan as part of the "Move on Asia" group show.
